I have been writing since I was in second grade when 'author' was my dream job. I began taking writing seriously a few years ago and learned everything I could about story structure and writing craft.

I began writing Jack Finch Believes in Ghosts in May of 2022 as something to do on the plane. We were headed to NYC for a Casey McQuiston book launch. I finished 21 days later, and published it that October. Then I was hooked.

I enjoy writing because it's a way to give the reader's brain something incredible to experience. Did you know the brain can't distinguish between real life and fiction? That's why my stories are full of queer joy and found family. That's what I want for my readers.

Whenever I'm editing or writing, I am usually sitting on my couch with my dog lounging beside me. When I'm not editing or writing, I'm usually watching writing videos and writing vlogs on YouTube or managing my Etsy shop, Spellcast Studio.
